Cheers Tim! Yeah I've found that ...Cheers Ben!
Cheers Tim! Yeah I've found that most species seem to be pretty relaxed with the kayak, although I would like to try the hide on some nesting birds on the lakes down here as it may allow me to get some more relaxed and natural shots on the nest... we'll see how it goes. Yeah I reckon it should go good on some of the more skittish shore birds :) I've been hand holding most the time as my old tripod is a bit awkward sitting on top of the kayak. mounting the camera on a bodyboard might work well, definitely worth a go!Jonathan Harrodhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02049940977916889336noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-68702573134771021.post-83549878831136920222011-01-10T11:13:35.435-08:002011-01-10T11:13:35.435-08:00Like these shots Jonathan, all very nice...especia...Like these shots Jonathan, all very nice...especially the relfection shots of the chick!Ben Andrewhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10684753305450000748noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-68702573134771021.post-65561617048297904012011-01-09T22:16:33.155-08:002011-01-09T22:16:33.155-08:00Great stuff Jonathan,
I to have been thinking abou...Great stuff Jonathan,
I to have been thinking about floating hides but from what people say as long as you are in the water the birds can be quite friendly.
I have thought about a bogy board to mount the camera and slowly walking around in the water but hav'nt done it yet.
Floating hides would be great for shore birds!
Do you have the tripod mounted?
Some really great shots here as always!!
TimTim Rumblehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03333763041735588423noreply@blogger.com
